A53 sim not working

Sometimes it will work, but you'll have to take it out 10 times and put it back in and it'll only work for 10 minutes or so.

Your SIM is probably faulty. If you take your phone to your carrier, they can give you a new one. Or even an esim if your phone supports that.

Sim card is not faulty because it works in other phones

You may have damaged the SIM tray. It could have gotten slightly bent when being reinserted.  This will affect the seating of the SIM. You can take the tray out and inspect it and make sure it is completely flat.  The better option would be to have your carrier activate your e-sim and then you don't have to worry about it.

If it's bent, that's the problem, the sim is not seated firmly. Try carefully staightening it. If not done carefully, you may have to purchase a new tray.

Straightened it but still doesn't work

If the sim does not sit flatly in the slot it won't connect with the internal contacts. You may have to obtain a new tray. I don't know if you can buy it direct from Samsung or if you have to go to a uBreakiFix store.
