Seems like this issue is known on the S26 but did not find any info on the A57.
So this is what happens.
Mesh network 3 AP's. Start of on a AP and speed is good, move to another AP, and the phone switched to the new AP just fine, but now the RX speed is stuck at 8 Or 36 Mbps.
Move back to original AP, same thing RX stuck at low Mbps.
Only way to get speed back is to switch wifi off and on again, it reconnects to same AP but now with the correct speed.
Ap is wifi6 at 5ghz 80mhz channel 44.
Have done all the usuals, forget reconnect, reset network, multiple reboots, intelligent wifi settings and combinations - like the S26, nothing helps.
Wife's S24 no problem, sons A36 no problem, Daughters A26 no problem, my old A73 no problem.
Starting to regret getting this phone.
Anyone else with this problem?
Here connected to first AP, speed is fine.
Moved to second AP, and back to first RX speed now stuck at 36 Mbps, with TX speed also lower than it should be.
Switch off wifi, and back on again, back to normal.
So frustrating ๐ก
