During set-up instructions, more step pause and advice is needed when the auto/mandatory install of Gemini.  I want to use Gemini, I provided engineering consultation in development of Gemini.  Gemini is not the issue.  

During install without any context, when you get to Gemini, there is an intuitive question of "Personal or Business" use of device.  With an explanation that business users with an admin team will know how to set different environments for Gemini on the device - perhaps through the Promeva G-Panel (great tool).  

I use my phone 90% business but no admin team supporting me.  Thus I have several clients with engineering / infrastructure information on my phone that I have NDAs with.  Well without the business admin team, I selected personal.  Next I got a message the Gemini install was mandatory, not disclosed on in the parenthesis of the "Personal or Business" question but perhaps that should have been intuitive.  Then, in my excitement to bail on the then immediate alert of downloading all my data (no clarity on the network connected data storage or SD card) to Gemini in support of it's LLM and any personalization it wants to provide me.  

In my frantic attempt to bail on the phone activation, I hit the screen when a question came up to re-assign the on/off button to Gemini Assist.  I did not even get to address it, because of the frantic screen hover with my hand I accepted and the download was still continuing.  The hard reset was just a guess (cell phone user since 1978)

While off-line I could find with web searches, the same issues as I was experiencing.  So I could find two mitigations, 1) review and confirm I had not allowed Google access to some shared areas.  Apparently Gemini uses some of these settings.   2) the on-off button could be restored but no clarity of how to re-assign Gemini Assist activation

So while I am excited to activate Gemini, I need to know 1) What data is taken from the phone (i.e. is it just internal storage to the google settings? is it all data stores (SD card, Across the network of connected devices?)
