My A54 just installed Android 15. The icons on status bar (along the top) are now so small that I often don't notice them unless I'm wearing close reading glasses. There seems to be no option to change their size.

Hello Samsung Member User, It seems that you are not very happy with your icons in the status bar, I haven't got android 15 One UI 7, but I believe there is no way to change the size as those are the new icons..

Would be great if changing size of screen or text would make the status bar big, but that might be a google thing then a Samsung thing

I believe Samsung controls the UI. In any event, Samsung has a lot more influence with Google than I do, especially if lots of their users are complaining about something.

Samsung is definitely NOT LISTENING to their user base as they tend to skew older. The status bar was designed by a twenty something that has no vision problem. Terrible!

There is no way to fix it. I have tried different fonts, different screen zooms, Nadal.

Hopefully there will be a fix with either an update or a setting in QuickStar.

They look the same size to me. I think they appear to look smaller because their are less of them and I do believe they are about 10% transparent.  Samsung developers definitely did not take any accessibility issues into consideration.  @Robin621k it's not just us old people, anyone can have vision deficits and no one should have to strain to see the functions of their phone.

If you go to accessibility settings/vision enhancements, you can increase the screen zoom which will also increase the size of things on the status bar, but be aware that it will increase the size of everything on your screen.  You can also add the screen magnification shortcut to your navigation bar, which will bring up the screen magnifier when you need to enlarge anything on your screen temporarily.
