Battery drain, slow charging, missing QR code reader, and text not always coming through

My phone is absolutely awful since the latest update. The battery drains faster, it takes way longer for it to charge, texts don't always come through, can't find the qr code reader, and the new way it is presented on screen is not user friendly. I want it back the way it was!

We understand the concern regarding changes to the phone with the new operating system. It cannot be changed back to the previous version. Fortunately, there are some things you can do that will help.
