I have had Samsungs since the S9 came out in 2013. My latest is the A16. Since my last system update, if I have YouTube playing (24/7) and I want to take a photo of my kids, sunset, whatever. My phone suddenly glitches, the apps freeze, my whole phone goes into chaos. it has delayed reactions to the sensor on the touch screen, it'll tell me system UI isn't responding. In the end, I have to restart my phone a few times to fix it. Basically don't use the camera if you have YouTube playing. But its a new problem, never had it before.

A Series & Other MobileWhy would anyone have YouTube playing 24/7? Your main problem is that you have an A16, which has low specs (low ram, less efficient processor) in the first place and @meself is correct in saying that YouTube is a resource hog, coupled with the fact that so is the camera when in use and the phone simply cannot handle the load. If you want to do stuff like that, you should buy an S series phone, or at the very least a higher model A series, like the A36 or A56.

A Series & Other MobileTry clearing the cache from the YouTube app. I don't think Spotify is as much of a resource hog as YouTube, you might try that. If it's only music you are using in the background, why not use your own music files and open a music player instead?
