This is for all of my A16 5g people users worldwide I just notice this for my a16 5g let's make it know for samsung to make these changes in the one ui 8.5 update!
**Problem Description:**
> I am reporting a significant limitation on the Galaxy A16 5G display. While the hardware is rated for 800 nits, the manual brightness slider is currently capped at roughly 60% of its potential.
>
> Furthermore, the "Extra Brightness" and "Video Brightness" toggles remain grayed out and unavailable, even when Adaptive Brightness and Power Saving are disabled. This prevents a flagship-level media experience during movie playback.
>
> **Request for One UI 8.5:**
> As a loyal Samsung user planning a 10-year device cycle, I request that the May One UI 8.5 update:
> 1. Unlocks the manual brightness cap to allow users to reach the panel's full potential.
> 2. Re-enables the "Extra Brightness" toggle for A16 5G users.
> 3. Optimizes thermal management so the display doesn't dim prematurely during long video sessions.

You want a "flagship-level media experience" from a budget phone, and you're asking for better thermal management for long video sessions ... on a budget device. I think your expectations are a bit off.

Download display assistant check the option that says maximum brightness stays at maximum even when phone heats up now you'll never have a dimming issue again it will always be at whatever brightness you set if you set it at full it will be at full. No matter how warm your phone gets no matter how long you watch a movie or how long you play video games it stays at full brightness
