A Series & Other MobileI have the same issue. This has been going on since December 29, 2025. I have tried every fix online, YouTube, etc. I have even changed the sim card thinking this was a network provider issue. After that, I brought it to a Samsung store, but they couldn't fix it. Samsung phone support tells me two options remain: factory reset, and if that fails to fix the issue, then ship the phone to them. I don't think factory reset will resolve the issue as I have read others that have had the same error not being helped by factory reset. And I am definitely not shipping the phone to Samsung for a software issue, not to mention I will be without a phone during that timeframe. I have submitted many feedback requests through the Samsung Members App to no avail. I have even screen recorded the error and submitted reports. I am hoping Samsung will provide a fix soon. From my research, many people are having this error in January 2026 across multiple Samsung galaxy models.
Edit - 2/8/26
I used Smart Switch software in my Windows PC and a USB cable connected to the phone to force an update. It updated to the January security update without issues. But the error still remains when I check for new updates. This means that it is not a software issue and it isn't a hardware issue. The issue is with Samsung update network blocking the update from my phone, or my phone seemingly blocked from receiving updates from the servers.

A Series & Other MobileOther than using SmartSwitch with PC, there is no other fix to update. And it seems Samsung doesn't care. Going on for two months now. Not a good look for Samsung. Support, whether it is through phone, store, or this website, is next to useless.

A Series & Other MobileIf a company fails to acknowledge and take responsibility for issues caused by its own updates, users will eventually move on to competing products. And if you try to call them out on it? Good luck โ your message will likely be removed for allegedly violating the Forums Terms of Use by constituting 'spam.' Apparently, holding a company accountable is now classified as spam."

A Series & Other MobileHave the same issue. Tried updating with Smart Switch, but after an hour of connection, the phone did not update and the Smart Switch window becomes unresponsive.
