My Galaxy A53 updated to One UI 8.0 yesterday morning and has not been able to recognize my SIM card since. Removing the SIM and placing it into my significant other's A53 that is not updated to One UI 8.0 works perfectly fine. I have seen online that this is not an isolated incident. Is there a way to revert my phone back to before 8.0 or a solution to this error?

Hi Cerces, thank you for that information. If you have tried a replacement SIM card in your device, and it did not resolve the issue then I recommend that you reach out to a certified service technician for further assistance. You can Private Message any moderator by selecting and clicking on the chat option, or you can use this link to proceed with self service: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/

I would Recommend Getting a new Sim card carrier you are in.

The sim card works when put in a different phone, I am not inclined to think that the card is faulty

I am still having the issue. I have tried, the device is not reading SIM cards, but the SIM card itself works in other devices

Same issue on my s25+. Sent it in 3 times with no solution. They claimed moisture damage on the last trip to the repair center and were going to charge me what I spent on the phone.
