Galaxy A55 pictures ruined skin tone

Help!
Samsung Galaxy A55 doing weird things with skin tone with is ruining some lovely photos of my baby. It makes the tone patchy and too smooth/loosing details of fine hair etc. It seems to do it as it processes/saves the picture as fine when taking it and on brief glance before its processed.

Happens when the flash is off or on auto and not going off even when a room is quite bright. Not noticed it before the last couple of months.

I have had a Google and tried turning off HDR, scene optimiser, beauty/face effects and changed display to natural rather than vivid which were the only recommendations but have made no difference. Any suggestions to resolve this would be great to stop it from happening and fix the photos i have- the basic edit options on my phone dont seem to work.

Even though I have a different phone, do you have something like this? Maybe try turning this thing off? Turn off anything that would smooth the face anything that has to do with face try turning that stuff off. Tap to see full picture.
