I made a Secure Folder for some photos and I didn't write down the five digit password. Is there anyway to get past the security and reset the password to something I can remember? Or is it just locked?

I'm probably in the same boat. At least the files are not vital.
Poof,, added usual.

Unfortunately, when resetting the password for secure folder, the reset option will only show if you have enabled "allow lock reset with Samsung account" under secure folder settings prior.
So make sure you have that setting enabled in the future so you can reset password if you forget it.

I used a 5 digit password that I would for sure remember but my folder says that it's wrong. I know I remember the password, I used something so familiar to me, it's like home - why won't it work?

Ya, I don't know... it may be as simple as maybe the first letter being Capitalized and you are entering as not being. That has happened to me. If you still can't get into your secure folder, unfortunately, you will have to set up a new secure folder password, but you will lose your data.
