How do I get the date on my phone screen?

Samsung phone. Galaxy A14

U can either add a calendar widget or change your lock screen. From lock screen press and hold and select date and time.

The date is usually part of the clock or weather widget. Choose one of those widgets - I suggest the clock & weather widget.
