A Series & Other MobileWhile listening to my Voice Mail, my Galaxy A51 screen dims after 15 seconds, and goes blank after 30 seconds. This is maddening because I often am asked to press a number to continue or repeat a VM etc, and can't because the screen has gone blank.
I've tried every suggestion found on the internet so far, have gone through ALL the phone settings and none of the settings changes anything and none of the advice solves the issue.
FWIW, just leaving my phone on, sitting on my desk, the screen will stay on for 10 minutes no problem. But as soon as I use the Voice mail feature, the screen dims, then shuts off. Srsly, **bleep** Samsung?

A Series & Other Mobile@DEK45 The timeout during a call is not controlled by all the other display timeout settings. This is a "feature" that has been around for a least 7 years old.

A Series & Other MobileFWIW, I did also go to the Settings inside the Voice Mail, while VM was active to see if there was something in there to stop the screen dimming, and couldn't find any solution either.
I'm starting to wonder if this VM screen dimming is a BUG?

A Series & Other MobileDownload Good Lock and the Display assistant module. Then tap on App's screen timeout and choose "call" and "phone", your voicemail app, and any other app to stay on for 10 minutes. If you need longer than that, tap the keep screen on tile and it will add a quick panel icon that you can tap at any time to keep the screen on for 30 minutes. if you don't need it on for 30 minutes, you can tap your side button to turn it off.

A Series & Other MobileWell, I got the GoodLock app, and it has a bunch of stuff like Theme Park, Wonderland, Keys Cafe, NavStar, Home Up, ClockFace, QuickStar, LockStar. Can't see any way to get to 'Display assistant module' though. I guess I'll have to do some research on my PC to learn how to use it. I'll post again if I find something useful : )

A Series & Other MobileDisplay assistant may only work in OeUI7 or higher. That's when it was introduced. The quick screen timeout is inherent in the phone dialer. You might be better off with a visual voicemail app, that way the screen can stay on while you are listening to your voicemails. You can also set a routine to keep your phone unlocked when using the phone to call your voicemail. That way, at least if it times out, it won't lock.
