How to transfer goggle message to new phone off the cloud? It was transferred off the Samsung cloud but not all the messages came over

Can you confirm if you are using Smart Switch when transferring your Google Messages from the cloud?

Was the old device fully backed up to the cloud before transferring? If not, that could be the cause of all of your messages not transferring over.

Also, can you confirm what type of device was the old one and the new one?
