A Series & Other MobileGreetings,
I have a Galaxy A42-5G and I need to transfer (Move) the photographs from the internal storage to the SIM.
How can I accomplish this?
Many thanks!

A Series & Other Mobile@lgldsr73 You would need to install a Micro SD card on the opposite side of the Sim card and then you open files and select the images you want to move to the Sd card.

A Series & Other MobileNo. The SIM is 128GB and the cell is now setup to store photographs taken to store images there. I should have set it up like that from the beginning.
Thanks,

A Series & Other MobileSIM cards and SD cards differ primarily in purpose: SIM cards store network authentication data for cellular connectivity, while SD cards act as portable storage for user files like photos and apps

A Series & Other MobileAstronaut,
I should not have used the word 'SIM'. It is a MicroSD card. My bad!

A Series & Other MobileThanks Gary. There is a 128GB MicroSD card in there now. I should not have used the word 'SIM'. My bad on that.
Thanks,

A Series & Other MobileI have a Galaxy A51, which is newer than yours OP, but should work in a similar way. This is what I do to move files between the phones internal memory and the MicroSD card. If you have a PC available, at home or friends house or even a public library, you can connect your phone to the PC using a USB cable. You turn your phone ON, then plug the cable into the phone and PC and you'll be able to see the phone using Windows Explorer. From there you can move, swap, make new folders, delete stuff, whatever you need to do. The Windows PC sees your phone as a storage drive and the access you now have is the same as plugging in a USB thumb drive.
BTW, if you've never connected your phone to a PC before, I think you might have to watch your phone screen when it connects to the PC as it might ask you if you wish the PC to simply charge your phone, or be able to access it to transfer files, be used as storage etc.
