I have to turn it off and on several times before it will let me unlock with my code. I've run all the diagnostic tests and nothing is showing wrong???

I am in the US. I bought the phone directly from Samsung. I know A72 are not sold in the US. But I'm here.

@user77tDk8b7CR Unfortunately support and detailed knowledge for non-US devices is very limited in this user to user discussion area. This is true regardless of where you are physically located or currently using the phone.

Try a wipe cache partition to see if it helps.

Turn off the Samsung A72.
Connect the phone to a computer (or USB-C headphones) using a USB cable.
Press and hold both the Volume Up key and the Power key simultaneously.
When the Android logo appears, release all buttons.
In the Recovery Menu, use the Volume Down button to highlight Wipe cache partition.
Press the Power button to select.
Highlight Yes with Volume Down and press the Power button to confirm.
Once completed, "Reboot system now" will be highlighted; press the Power button to restart the phone.
