My Galaxy a16 5g Google phone app says "this device not supported and phone calls may not work correctly"?

Okay so now when I go to you my phone app, by Google, it says "this device is not supported and phone calls may not work correctly" BUT my phone is unlocked, so I'm confused as too why it's saying that. Anybody have any experience with anything like this ????

What does it show in settings than about phone than software information in about the middle says some like provider service can say like att or vzw for example

Thats what it says, I have airtalk with it now, before I had metro pcs

From what I can tell its unlocked one thought is port is not complete

Are you using the Phone by Google phone dialer or Samsung's native dialer app?  Phone by Google may not actually be supported on the A16, although I don't see why it wouldn't, except that A16 is a low model phone-very basic.  It has nothing to do with whether or not your phone is unlocked, it's whether the phone supports the app.  Were you using it previously and had an update of some kind?  The app might not have updated with it.  If you are using Phone by Google, you would have to contact Google about issues with it.  You can switch back to the native Samsung phone dialer in the meantime.
