I'm a newbie at this so bare with me, I have Samsung galaxy A22 how do I make sure I have the latest security updates? How do I make sure I'm secure enough that I wouldn't be hacked or cloned? I'm with to start from scratch with my phone a full reset, new accounts, changing passwords, whatever it takes. Then how can I test things to be sure? Thank you in advance ☺️

That's good than you should be getting notice when next update is ready says something like software or system update

If it's update then how would someone gain enough access to unlock my bank card and charge things I didn't authorize?

That would be in nfc think it's called fir bank things I personally don't use it but Google wallet or Samsung pay i think are two options if I remember Google wallet is encrypted as for other methods of bank cards there are flaws in it set up 2fa with bank

@abundantsunshine78 They would have to gain access to your CC number or bank account info. This can happen when you click on a link that you think is a bank link or valid payment link and provide that information.

And of course there have been a lot of information leaks which can put a lot of personal information on the web.

You can always contact one of the credit services to lock your info. If someone tries to open a card or account in your name, it should be blocked.

Best advice goto apps and uninstall any you don't need i.e games or whatever get your carriers call filter varies by name with each carrier get a anti-virus aviri is free keep up todate also after you set up 2fa in Google and banks change your passwords in a browser not on your phone
