New unwanted call recorder

This new call recorder is an invasion of privacy.  It is located on the screen where it gets turned on accidentally just by holding my phone to my face.  I followed the online steps to remove it but realized this was an intentional desception to make you think the recorder is fully disabled when in fact the only thing you are actually able to disable is the notification that it is recording making it so you don't know if you are being recorded or not. Plus it says that even with the notification active people added after the recording starts at not notified and now placed that responsibility on the citations to inform other people the call is being recorded.  How are they supposed to know the legality of recording calls. Individuals like me don't have teams of lawyers like Samsung Corp does but i do know my privacy laws.  GET THIS RECORDER OFF MY PHONE OR MAKE IT ABLE TO BE FULLY DISABLED OR I WILL FILE LEGAL ACTION FOR INVASION OF PRIVACY FOR ILLEGAL RECORDING WITHOUT CONSENT.  AS I STATED BEFORE ACCIDENTALLY BUMPING A BUTTON WITH MY FACE THAT I CANNOT MOVE ELSEWHERE SO I DON'T BUMP IT WITH MY FACE IS NOT, I REPEAT, NOT CONSENT TO RECORD!

Don't you have to confirm the recording is on when you accidentally bump the icon with your face?

You need to send feedback to the developers. Posting about legal action on a user forum will not get Samsung's attention. Put in your error report and maybe they will fix it.

Since the Call recording was added to the dialer I've hit the button with my face 0 times and if you do accidently hit it the phone announces this call is being recorded in so many secs so you have time to cancel it.  And this was one features everyone was asking for.

They make speakerphone and ear buds for a reason. I always wonder how these people are hitting the record button, but not the hang up button or any other button. The proximity sensor didn't stop working because they added a recorder.

I don't know where you got your "disabling" instructions, but if it involves disabling the announcement, that's a jailbreaking thing and not at all legal unless you reside in a state with one party consent.  But it would still be illegal to record a conversation secretly if the other party is in a two party consent state, so it's best to leave the announcement just as it is.
