A Series & Other MobileI have an A15, and it has decided to stop notifying me with a badge that I have a text. I've had problems before with notification sounds more than once. Samsung does this frequently. Notifications stop coming through.
I've tried everything on YouTube to get it to work to no avail. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Series & Other MobileYou should be using Google Messages. Samsung is sunsetting their messaging app and it's likely going to be misbehaving at random times.

A Series & Other MobileSamsung is not doing anything. It's either your phone configuration or your lack of phone maintenance (cache clearing, regular optimization, etc.). And, sometimes it's the app itself misbehaving. Which messaging app are you using? Try clearing the cache of the messaging app, as well as clearing the phone's cache partition.

A Series & Other MobileI use the Samsung messaging app. i've done both of these, and it still does not work. The phone worked properly a month ago. There is no reason why it does not work now.
I've seen people who drop this app altogether and use a Google or Verizon app.

A Series & Other MobileHi @Lo13! Thank you for reaching out. I would suggest placing the phone into safe mode and see if the notifications are still no longer coming in.
Power on your Galaxy phone or tablet in Safe mode
If your notifications come in as they should, then another app is causing the issues with your notifications. Let us know if this works for you.

A Series & Other MobileSadly, that did not work. Oddly enough, if it were the operating system, as many suggested, when I opted into Google Messages, it should not have worked. However, it did.
