Hello, yesterday 7/25/24 my Samsung Galaxy A71 5G phone started freezing up in only the pokemon go app for no reason. This started right after I purchased the Mega Lucario event pass with Lucario Mask.
The game loads up, but right as soon as you are about to see the map and your chacter the game freezes up.
I asked my friend if they were having this issue on there phone they said No. But I know they have IPhone so this might just be a android issue.
I have tried just about everything to fix this issue. I restart the app multiple times and it hasn't changed anything. I restarted my phone and that didn't fix the problem. I Uninstalled the pokemon go App and reinstalled it, I tried it multiple times and it didn't fix the problem. I looked for any updates and my phone is up to date. I also checked the memory space available on my phone and RAM space and there is plenty of space.
Hopefully someone has a answer on how to fix this issue with the Pokemon Go App.
Otherwise I believe this issue has something to do with either Ninantic and the Pokemon Go app, Android, or Samsung.
Try this. Long press on the app icon till the menu comes up on top. Click the little circled "i" on the top right of the window. This will bring up the settings. Once in the settings, scroll down to storage, tap on it and on the bottom menu, click "clear cache". Go back to your app and see if that helped anything.
