A Series & Other MobileA54 Phone turns off after setting time but still requires power button to be pressed to turn back on. Is there another way? It's most frustrating.

A Series & Other MobileWhen I set down phone the screen goes blank. Normal. But have to use power button to turn back on. Is there a way to tap screen to turn back on? Button so small difficult to access. I'm 75 and a little stiff in the fingers.

A Series & Other MobileBased on your description, lift to wake may be the best option for you. Double tap to turn on screen could also be a viable option

A Series & Other MobileAre you sure the double-tap to wake is not working? Did you enable it, or are you trying without enabling? You have to do two rapid taps. However, lift to wake should work, even if double tap does not. If you have a fingerprint set, you can also go to lockscreen and AOD/fingerprints and enable "fingerprint always on", this way all you have to do is put your finger on the fingerprint reader when the screen is off - or in the location of the fingerprint reader if you have the setting to show the icon when screen is of disabled.
What's so hard or inconvenient about pressing the side button anyway?
