In March of 2025, I ordered two of the above chargers with cords. Unfortunately, with both of them, plugged into my wall outlet (different ones, at different times), they both start emitting a high pitched noise. When I touch them, they are VERY hot as are the ends of the cords. I tried them both in different outlets, but the same thing happens every time. I have been trying unsuccessfully for several weeks now to find someone to chat with or to talk to on the phone, but the wait is VERY long and I give up every time. The chargers did not cost that much as they were on sale, but I would have thought two things: the quality would have been MUCH better and service/support would have been MUCH easier to get. I am disappointed, Samsung. I own three of your tablets, one of your phones, two of your televisions and two of your DVD players and have been your customer for years......
These power adapters with cables came as a set of 2 from the Samsung website. Having a whine is not usual in my experience, but to have both a whine AND being very hot to the touch does not sound "good" to me.
