Samsung messages ending?

Has anyone else gotten a message saying June 6th 2026 Samsung messages will not be available anymore?

You're saying the Google messages doesnt show text or anything just a black screen

They show parts of my messages but when i go to tap on them to bring them up, it shows up a black screen

Do you have the latest update have you hone in settings at top rcs chat and check its green by your number

I dont even know that that is. I just downloaded it like an hour and a half ago. No updates needed.

Check the play store for updates also in apps goto Google messages and set as default

I was in GM for a few minutes and immediately switched back to my original messages.
GM is not for Samsung period.

I made the switch to GM four times before I finally just kept it. I don't like it though.

Okay everything showed up and my numbers are fixed.
But this layout is ugly and too bright.

I love my samsung and my samsung love me.

That is going to be really annoying as I keep in contact with friends through Messenger!  Am I supposed to ask all of them to use something else now?

Has anyone else heard that they are removing msgs from Samsung??? They haven't been including it for sometime in the phones IDK what is replacing it 🙄
