I have a Galaxy 15A . I accidentally archived an email in my Gmail account, my phone's instructions does not match my phone. It's telling me go to all mail select archived messages but that is not an option on this phone

@caballo10 Pretty impatient. You're complaining within 10 minutes on a volunteer user to user discussion area that you don't have a solution?

Try this:

  1. Open the Gmail account
  2. Make sure that you are using the account that has this email.
  3. Click the 3 lines at the top left.
  4. Scroll down and click on "All mail". You should see your archived message.

@caballo10 Not sure what option you are talking about. When you archive a message it is moved from your inbox but it will appear in "All mail".

It's not there it's empty. And not only that there are no three lines at the top left. It's just the three lines for my search bar that shows up the same no matter if it's inbox ,sent , important on and so forth. Those three lines pull up the same thing every time. Archived is not one of them

@caballo10 Are you using the Gmail email app or another email app?

I know that you can see the archived messages using the Gmail email app and that is what I provided directions for.

Yes, that's the one I've always used but I swiped accidentally and archived it and the phone instructions are the same instructions that you gave me there are no emails there. I've done it accidentally since getting this phone. It is never bothered me until now because of an email that was very important that I didn't even get to read I go to all mail, it is empty and so is my trash

@caballo10 So you have no email at all in Primary, All inboxes, etc.?

In All mail, do you have any search criteria set at the top of All mail?

Open Gmail app: Open the Gmail app on your Android phone or tablet.

Access settings: Tap the menu icon (usually three lines) at the top left, then tap "Settings" and then "General settings".

Find swipe actions: Scroll down to "Mail swipe actions".

Configure swipe actions: Tap on "Right swipe" or "Left swipe," then choose "Delete" as the action.

Test swipe: Now, when you swipe a message in your inbox,
