About 10 days ago my Samsung A54 battery charge went from just over 50% charge to 19% in just over an hour without much usage, then lost half the charge overnight when I wasn't even using it.
After over a week of functioning normally, this issue has once again popped up. The battery status tells me the battery is good and no apps are showing abnormal battery usage. Last night even when I put it in power saving mode overnight, the battery still drained down to 14% this morning.
Just trying to get an idea if I should replace the battery or is there something wrong with the phone?
The battery drain with the update is ridiculous along with all the other things they clearly saw or should have seen before releasing this nonsense.
I've noticed that Chrome is using a ton of battery, only problem is I don't use Chrome for anything, I always use the Samsung Internet. So the question now is, why is Chrome using a ton of battery.
I've also noticed that my location icon is on constantly now even though when I go in to see what is using it, it tells me nothing is using it . Then why is the icon showing? Something clearly is using it.
This so called "update" is a mess. Much of it is changing things to just change things and their stupid AI **bleep** I don't want anyhow.
Not Happy.. at all.. This is the type of nonsense as to why I don't buy Pixels anymore.
