So I ordered a Galaxy a 32 off of Amazon via 3rd party seller. yes I know that was my first mistake. When I got the phone it immediately was lighter than my original a 32 Long story short when I went to register it onto the network for my mobile carrier it showed me that it had the software of an S22. I don't know if that has any bearing on my issue but I just thought that I should share. everything was fine for the first couple of days. did not of nowhere my text messages stopped sending. I figured out what the issue was. it is that the allowed networks is grayed out completely on the text messages, on the modes and routines, and on the IU or UI home something I don't know. I followed every single protocol that I could find online. I contacted Metro PCs they did a network refresh. i'm not sure what else I could do or if that it could be my SIM card. so anybody could help that would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear this but it sounds like a fake device if it doesn't weight the same as your original device and software isn't the same.  I would recommend contacting Amazon and doing a return and only purchase directly from Samsung or a reputable seller.

Basic text messaging (MMS/SMS), used by Samsung Messages (with RCS texting, if your carrier allows), is provided by your carrier, so it would be best to continue to attempt to resolve the issue with your carrier. And since you're having network issues, it's a carrier issue in the end anyway.

If you're using Google Messages, then your should be able to send/receive text messages as it utilizes the internet to transmit/receive messaging data, but will default to your network's MMS/SMS service if no internet signal is available.

My experience with Amazon is that they have a great refund policy. To be honest, at this point, I would be returning the phone for a refund and explore other purchasing options.
