The disappearance of Samsung messages and is needed to use "calls to other devices" feature

Why did samsung get rid of there messaging service if you have a tablet with calls to other devices you need samsung messages to use the feature does google messaging have one have yall used that feature

Yes, Google messages will pair the devices just as easy. I think samsung messages is on its way out

Cool but I have the calls from other devices feature on my tablet and I use that when my phone is on the charger

Call from other devices is also supported. I do the same thing when I'm using my tablet. And then link to windows for work. Google is better imo. Emojis work across platforms, spam filtering, etc.

oh ok thats good the feature is still supported i just got another update as soon as i updated i notice samsung messages just disappeared im like wow so google is taking over

I mean, for samsung, they kind of need to step out of their own way a bit. Why pay to develop and maintain an app another company is already providing for free and focus on the good software they do, like good lock and Health.

Yeah Google Messages is the way to go I haven't used Samsung Messages in years.  I still get all of my Calls and Texts on both devices
