Two different Message apps

Why is there two messaging apps witch is better and why and should it be my default or should I like switch it once a month or I'm just confused

Not sure what are you referring to? Are you using Samsung messages?

@Meg51467 The one with the blue text bubble is Google Messages. The one in the purple circle must be something that you installed. To find out what exactly it is, you can long press on the icon. When the dialog pops up, click the small i in the upper right. Then scroll to the bottom of that dialog and click on "App details in store".

@Meg51467 Currently Samsung is transitioning between Samsung messages and Google messages. Therefore both come on the devices for now.

That is google messages and samsung messages and I use samsung messages because it is the best option for me but u can try both and see which one is better for you

I also use Samsung because you can add/edit quick responses so it helps on my watch
