Since updating to the one ui 7 this week, my A14 phone will often not respond to touch after the screen awakes after touching the side button. I'm unable to swipe, or select phone or camera buttons. I have tried clearing the cache and rebooting, but the problem persists, rendering my phone pretty much useless. Any solutions, apart from throwing my phone at the wall in anger would be appreciated.
Run diagnostics in the members app to identify any potential hardware issues, Run Good Guardians modules to clean up anything that needs cleaned up. If issues persist, back up data and perform a factory reset.
Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately, having done a factory reset yesterday the problem persists. The touch screen randomly fails after pressing the power button, so I can't do anything, not even answer calls! I couldn't even complete the diagnostic tests as the touch screen stopped working too.
A very costly problem for me to have to solve at an inconvenient time. Most likely a new phone mid contract.
I'm having the same issues with mine as well. I have to hit the power button when making a text every few letters. Screen is lagging. And at times it acts like someone else is using my phone remotely. It's doing it's own thing. Please put out another update please for this issue as I am about to make samsung my least favorite. And everything I have is samsung.
I'm the exact same had to go out a buy a new phone today..I couldn't answer any work calls, I could even get into my apartment complex car park and I couldn't unlock my phone to access the ap . Really really bad and no solution
Many people are having the same issue on A14, it's all over Reddit, Facebook and elsewhere. My gf's A14 is randomly freezing after updating to OneUI 7. Clearing cache didn't help, factory reset didn't help. SAMSUNG please take notice and fix this!
