A Series & Other MobileHi all,
I have the weirdest issue that started I think from yesterday, I have a Samsung Galaxy A56 and I have an unlimited 5G plan, so I use that for basically all my "network" needs on the phone.
However, for some reason, It's been nearly a month now that I can't install or update any app from the Google Play store, it always downloads them, reaches 99% and remains stuck there for like a five minutes until it says that it failed to install.
At first I thought I should just reboot, but that didn't work, then I Cleared the data on both the Google Play app and the Google Services one, but that also didn't work... And then I tried with my home Wifi and the apps can install and update normally, though when I revert back to 5G it's still the same issue...
Network preferences on the Google Play Store are also set to use any network...
Does anybody know what the issue and potentially the fix for this would be please?
Thanks in advance!

A Series & Other MobileHello fury1337, welcome to the Samsung Community! I understand your frustrations with your device not allowing you to install apps for the Galaxy store. Before installing an app via the Galaxy Store or Play Store, check the appโs compatibility information in the app's description. The app's developer may need to update their app to work with your device. Close any app running in the background, tap the Recent button on your deviceโs Navigation bar, and then tap Close all to close all of your recent apps. Ensure that your device have enough storage space to download the app and also verify that your device is up to the latest software. Try your device in Safe Mode to see if there is a third party app causing the issue: Booting your Samsung Galaxy into Safe mode | Samsung CA
If you are still having the issue in Safe Mode then I recommend performing a Factory Data Reset, please be sure to back up your device before performing the reset: Perform a factory reset on your Galaxy phone or tablet

Hi there,
Thank you for your response, however I don't personally think you've read my entire post as I mentioned that the issue only happens when using data rather than Wifi...
When I switch to Wifi I can download all the apps and updates no problem, but if I try using Data, it downloads the files and then gets stuck at 99% for few minutes then says that it failed.

A Series & Other MobileI actually just checked if there was an update today and turns out there was one, which I installed and sadly I'm still facing the same issue...
It's really such a super weird issue and I really don't wanna go through the hassle of factory resetting my phone to potentially fix this...

A Series & Other MobileSometimes to only way to clear an unknown issue is to factory reset the phone. Make sure you have a backup of all your personal data if you choose to go that route. Before you do, though, I suggest trying once again to download something, and then immediately putting in an error report. Let the developers see if they can determine the issue.
