You may have activated ~ keep phone unlocked when it's near.
I think I came across this in settings before.
But never tried it.

Settings is such a huge entity, you might have to try Google search to see category to access on your model.
Cheers

If you don't shout, maybe people will answer! ๐Ÿ˜‰

As Philscbx mentioned, check "Extend Unlock" in your Lock Screen settings to see if it has been set. This is assuming someone else in your household does not have access to your phone. Check to see if there are registered fingerprints other than yours and change the PIN if someone else knows it too.

I missed seeing your previous post or would have commented. Honest! ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyway, hope you were able to figure out the issue and fix it. Let us know what worked.

Take care!

Hey Userminime, thank you for reaching out to Samsung community. I see that you are having issues with the home screen lock on the phone.
Do you have the Smart Lock activated? If you do have Smart Lock activated this may be the reason why your device is staying unlocked.
You can follow the steps below to manage your Smart Lock settings.
1. Open the Settings app
2. Tap Lock screen
3. Tap Smart Lock. You will be asked to confirm your screen lock
4. Tap on the Smart Lock type you want to use

You may also want to check to see if the On-body detection function is activated. On-body detection keeps your device unlocked while it's in motion. Once you've unlocked your device, it will stay unlocked while you are holding or carrying it. Your device will then detect when it has been put down and lock itself. The steps below may also help with your issue.
1. Go to your Smart Lock settings
2. Tap On-body detection
3. Tap the switch in the top right corner
