I've been reading so many issues with people having Android Auto issues. I was using a high quality Anker 6 foot cable and was constantly getting random disconnect issues. Nothing I tried worked. Updated the radio, cleared Android Auto cache...nothing. I read an article stating Goofle highly recommends using a 3 foot cable. I bought a 3 foot Anker cable and my Android Auto works flawlessly now. PLEASE, try that first. I recommend Anker as they have good prices and make high quality cables as well.

Well the truth is that is should work with both 3 and 6 ft. Cables, but electricity and signals are reduced because of resistance over x feet. But 6 ft. Isn't really that much!?!?
