Apps/Icons gone (also from app drawer) after update 16-6-2022

Hi,

After last update most of my Icons are gone, also from the app drawer so I cannot put them back. The only way to start them is going to Settings->Apps-> (scroll through giant list) choose app--> chose "open" or via play store-> manage apps and devices -> scroll to app and choose "open".

It does not matter which launcher I choose. All have the same problem that apps do not show in app drawer.  

Restarting phone does not help.

Anyone with a clue or quick fix?

If you hold down the circle button at the bottom of the screen the voice prompt will come up and you can open the missing apps by voice command. That's what I'm doing now at least.

which carrier? and what's your current software version? about phone > software info > last 4 characters of build number
