Can I stay on Android 11 and still receive security updates?

I am on a Galaxy A52s. When Android 12 arrives on my phone, can I ignore the update and just rely on Google Play security updates? The main reason why I want to stay on Android 11 is due to all the problems people are having and Samsung not implementing a setting to enable the old overscroll animation and to disable rounded corners on PIP or popup view. Android 11 is fine the way it is for me.

Probably not. The security updates and Google play updates are two different things

That's kind of what I meant. I'm probably going to stay on Android 11 either way until these issues get fixed
