One UI 2.0 navigation bar full screen gestures

I am having an issue with the full screen gestures after the One UI 2.0 Android 10 update. With many apps, swiping up for task switch or home causes any elements at the bottom of the screen to be touched. On Android TV Remote either back or home will be pressed as I try to switch to another app. In most other apps with the keyboard open it will activate some manner of gesture typing swipe, entering a word before switching away. This was most definitely not an issue with Android 9.0 when I was using the swipe gestures. It feels like there is no dead zone or input blocking once the swipe gestures are started.

No responses to this issue? It's terribly annoying.

I've been having issues where certain apps (Glassdoor for example) I can't click on any buttons within the app unless I disable full screen gestures. Same happened with Google pay. What gives?
