ComputersI've got a Chromebook Plus (model XE521QAB-K01US). Last week I noticed that the little charging LED never turned to fully charged' "blue". Instead it just stayed charging "red" overnight. Tried draining the battery almost gone and then tried to charge again. No change. My chromebook never charges past 71% and never registers as fully charged. Does anyone have any idea what's going on and how I can fix it? Thank you!

ComputersThe first thing you will want to check is that you have the current Chrome updates installed on your device. If this does not help with the charging function, you will next want to powerwash the Chromebook and see if that helps.

ComputersThanks for the suggestion. I confirmed that I've got the latest system update and then ran the powerwash. No luck. It doesn't matter how long I charge the unit. It will not fully charge. In fact, it now won't charge past 65%! It's getting worse. I'm baffled.
