Trying to connect an Niuto external portable monitor (from Amazon) to my Galaxy Book Pro 360. It has an HDMI connector and I have an HDMI adaptor to connect the HDMI to the usb-C Thunderbolt port on the laptop. The external monitor isn't being detected (it has power... says "no signal"). The laptop screen flickers when I plug/unplug, like it's trying to detect, but doesn't. Can anyone help?

Honestly, I've bought many adapters over the years and very few of them work as intended. I would recommend returning the monitor and getting one that is USB-C compatible. You'll have the added benefit of charging the monitor at the same time.

did you try all the C ports?? other adapters?

Mine works fine, I suggest getting better adapter... maybe pay the extra for the official adapter sold on Samsung's website if you're really really frustrated
