Hello all,
So, I've been wondering how data usage works with the new line of cellular-connected Galaxy Books. Would I have to buy a monthly plan from a carrier such as AT&T, and insert a SIM card into the device? If I have to go to all that trouble, why wouldn't I just use my phone's mobile hotspot when needed?
It seems that, for most people, the cost of cellular data would be too expensive.
Just thinking out loud here. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

You would need to get a data plan from the carrier, but worst case scenario, you could use wifi or a hotspot with it if you have one available.  It's more about the convenience of not having to search for a connection when you're out and about.

I just pop my sim out my phone and put it in the sim card tray and use its data plan. Works fine.
