Do I send the power cable in for repair with Chromebook?

JUMP TO SOLUTION

I've got a service request for my damaged Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 (XE520QAB-K03US).  Does anyone know if a Chromebook counts as a "Notebook PC"?  Should I send the power adapter with the Chromebook?

The shipping instructions state:

All products (except those listed below):
Do not package any cables, remote controls, installation CD's or other accessories with your product
If the product has a detachable power cord, remove it

Notebook PC / Galaxy Tab:

For all issues please send the following items:

  • Notebook PC / Galaxy Tab
  • Battery
  • AC Adapter / Power Cord / USB Cable
  • Other accessories that were included (ie. PC Dock, S-Pen, etc.)
