Galaxy Book Flex Alpha won't support 2560x1440 at 60Hz over HDMI

I brought this question over to the Intel Community forums and they said the issue might be a vendor modification to the bios.  Some people have their monitors working at this resolution over HDMI, but they have different monitors than I do. My non Samsung/Intel GPU computer can drive this monitor just fine at 1440p@60Hz

Booting this laptop in Linux will run that monitor at 1440p@60Hz!  It just won't work in windows.

Any chance new drivers or a bios update are coming for this laptop?

Is there anything I can do about this issue.

Re: Galaxy Book Flex Alpha won't support 2560x1440 at 60Hz over HDMI

Are we going to get any updates on this?

1. Intel claims the issue is because of a limitation that Samsung has introduced to the BIOS settings.

2. I can run the proper resolution and refresh rate over the same HDMI cable with a USB-C adapter.  This is a sub-par solution as I already have an HDMI port, and this laptop does not support USB-C charging.

3. The Samsung video drivers are behind the Intel drivers.

Has Samsung just given up on the Galaxy Flex Alpha?
