Galaxy Book Flex - Help disabling air commands?

JUMP TO SOLUTION

Screenshot (1).png

Does anyone know how to disable the air commands that pop up everytime you take your spen out? The default windows uninstaller doesn't allow you to uninstall third party apps. But when I use a third party uninstaller app it just reinstalls instantly. Any ideas? Thanks.

I just solved it. Air Commands is a provisioned app so the only way to remove it, is via Powershell.

*Not sure if you can reinstall, so do this at your own risk*

1. Open Powershell as Admin

2.  Paste the following in order without quotes:

  1. "Remove-AppxPackage SAMSUNGELECTRONICSCoLtd.AirCommand_1.1.3.0_x86__wyx1vj98g3asy"
  2. "Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -package SAMSUNGELECTRONICSCoLtd.AirCommand_1.1.3.0_x86__wyx1vj98g3asy -online"

That's it! No more interuptions, best part is that air gestures still stay.

Agreed but just a bit annoying when trying to take notes on your own app. Also turns out you can reinstall it. All you have to do is search "Air Command" on Windows store and install.

If you do choose to reinstall it's no longer a provisioned app so you can uninstall it like a regular program via settings.
