I purchased the 14' Galaxy Book5 Pro a week ago, and I was excited to have a laptop that rivaled the MacBook. I researched the specs and reviews on the Galaxy Book5 Pro before making my purchase, and I was eager for its long-lasting battery (among other incredible features!). I am sad to report that my battery life is not long-lasting, and it has left me less than thrilled. After charging my battery to its 100% full capacity, I am met with a battery lifetime of 6 hours. Through my research and witnessed product reviews, I was anticipating a longer battery life. Do I just need to send it back and get a new one, or is there something like configuring my battery that would help? I'd like to think a laptop 1 week old should not have to have its battery configured. Help please!!

There's several factors to battery life set battery performance to balance should say recommended turn off fast start up also also check apps at startup that can affect performance

I have changed my battery performance to balanced, turned off fast start up, and reduced the running apps on start up. My 81% battery still gives a dismal life of 3 hours and 28 minutes

You should see a improvement overall but as for battery lasting longer need to figure in battery size and like on a phone battery life varies by what you do but 3 hours or so on average isn't bad

I've never come across a laptop with all day battery life. If you are getting 6 hours of continuous uptime, more power to you. What was your expectation and are you talking about uptime in total or continuous use? How much screen-on time and how bright is your screen? Do you put it to sleep?
