Hello,

I got a galaxy book5 pro 16" Intel ultra 7, 1TB, 32G RAM running Windows 11 pro (end of Nov). I hadnt used it after setting up the accounts. It has been slow downloading updates. The install of the 202602 Security Update (KB5077181) (26200.7840) fails. I have tried several times.

I am also using local accounts (i.e. not signing in to MS account except in apps.

Samsung continuity, buds, quickshare are working fine. Issue when I tried storage share.

1. Anyone else seen similar issues?
2. Is Windows misbehaving with local accounts?

I ran the PC Diagnostics app.

Thanks

I applied a chipset update with the device care app and the patch installer still says it gets to 100% but fails,
2 options, anyone know the better way. Not sure what will happen with pro upgrade
Options:
1. Reinstall via Windows Update page or,
2. Factory reset in device care which says windows 11 home

Could check your update configuration
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/troubleshoot-problems-updating-windows-188c2b0f-10a7-d72...

Go to the bottom where it has trouble shooting and software distribution and catroot2 option

Update: the troubleshooter didnt find anything, so I ended up just letting it to reinstall "Windows 11, version 25H2 (repair version)". The installer took a long time to run and seems to have completed. No error so far
