ComputersSince our firm bought this VR headset over a year ago, it's been amazing and wonderful We use this as well for 3d design. We love Windows mixed reality and it is easy to use. HOWEVER, since we got the latest Windows update to 24r from 23r, the Windows Mixed Reality Portal no longer loads and it shows an "incompatible" error message. Found out Windows 11 24r no longer supports Windows VR headsets! We are deciding to drop VR use completely now since we really do not want to go with Quest or other headsets. Since we bought 5 Samsung HMDs, we are asking to refund our money as these are worthless now. We cannot roll back to 23r anyways, it won't let us. Will Samsung refund our money since we cannot use these bricked headsets any more? What an extreme disappointment and a huge loss of money. If a company sells a product, for longevity, Samsung for example, should offer it's customers an alternative to use their expensive products even though a third party, Microsoft, stopped support. What a disaster.

ComputersSorry to say but you would need to contact customer service about this and if its outside of the return window I don't think you would be able to get a refund. I would suggest contacting Windows since they are the ones that stopped supporting VR

ComputersThank you for the reply. One other suggestion we just discussed, was a dual booting. We think we can install Windows 10 to one of our Win 11 PCs as dual boot. Will this work for using the Mixed Reality portal if we dual boot into Win 10?

ComputersWe considered this, BUT Microsoft is forcing the 24H2 update. We heard about this from other users. You can turn off updates but from what we were told, eventually it will update to 24H2. We don't want to risk that. Thank you.

ComputersI would just disable the internet connection to it or only have it on your local network with no access to the internet and it wouldnāt be able to update
