SSD backward migration

So, I am on my third Samsung SSD.  Previous migrations using Magician worked. a 500, 1T and a 2T.

Now, I want to migrate from a Samsung 500G SSD back to the original WD 500 G that came with this laptop (rather that my desktop).  I want to give the laptop away, but I am cheap and want to keep the SSD but not screw things up.

Any ideas please!!

I believe that Magician only works one way so you have to get another program, like I did. I use Macrium Reflect which does an outstanding job!
