Apparently, my initial speculations were right, especially now that the final version will not roll out until April, allegedly. I guess people figured out that the S25 Ultra just wasn't worth the upgrade, and once one Ui finalized version rolled out, we weren't gonna be missing much. I've never seen the trade-in deals last this long.

That is helpful. But no Samsung Health right? No modes coordination between the watch and phone. I'm feelomg locked into the ecosystem with these feature.

I'm not that hooked to the Samsung ecosystem even tho I own a Watxh 7, but Samsung Health can be installed on any Android device. I'll give Pixel a try

Samsung Pay too?

I would miss the "if then" logic and automation of Bixby Routines and Bixby Modes.

Also, the SPen with Bluetooth.
I am in the "1%" I suppose and these features are important to me. One of the key reasons, among others l, that I did not move to the S25U.
I have the watch ultra and buds 3 pros. All excellent devices.

Will keep my S24U regardless, but do hope Samsung does right by their customers pushing the features downstream. One year old hardware can surely do very well. Otherwise, it really calls into question the validity of a premium phone and purchase price.

While I'm not convinced that the sky is falling, and I don't think 99% of the market knows or cares about anything we're talking about, I do think Samsung is a bit too comfortable in their Android ecosystem dominance.

They have really positioned themselves as the "Apple of Android," which is all well and good from a marketing standpoint, but I don't think they have the degree of overall market dominance or ecosystem lock-in required to make some of the choices they are making.

They are definitely not the apple of Android if they are inconsistent with updates, which is something Apple has always excelled at.

Have you kept up with recent Apple news, by chance? Apple's rigid adherence to update schedules has recently resulted in them pushing out unfinished (even problematic) AI features and buggy software.

For better or worse, I imagine Samsung is trying to avoid the same fate by delaying releases.

Sure, but can anyone explain what is buggy or wrong with One UI Beta 3?

I see little to no discussion about issues other than what's the hold up in the release of the "stable" software. All software has bugs. It will never be perfect.

Perhaps Samsung can explain what they are trying to correct with the extended beta program?

Can we also get an explanation why we are not testing features such as the "Now Briefing" or "Audio Eraser" on the 24U during the beta program?

Now I'm waiting to see what the Beta Moderator will have to say in our 4TH Beta/Part Two conversion. I'm sure it'll be something enlightening.
