Auto brightness

I feel like the software fails to properly adjust to the lighting sometimes is that just me?

I think my auto brightness toggles off on its own occasionally

Can you provide more detail?

As in, "it doesn't get bright enough"
... or
"It doesn't dim enough"

Sorry for the late reply, but lets say i go oitside the brightness will turn up buy when i go back to a dark place or inside my house it stays at max brightness.

I don't use adaptive brightness, but when I click on the phone to the lock screen it's very dark and progressively gets brighter to the setting it is at.
