I've already submitted an error report for this. Since the beta started, which I installed the first day available, I have not had one workout automatically detected.
My settings are correct and I've toggled them off and on again and cleared cache from recovery and rebooted several times but not one workout detected.
I've installed the second beta this morning and watch manager and health app updates. I was hopeful it would be fixed since they added some new options in the automatic detecting settings. I did all the above steps again and it still isn't working.
I don't know if this is just happening to me but they used to work all the time before the beta and I've done all the troubleshooting steps.
