Avoiding beta 4?

It seems from comments here that while beta 4 slightly improves some animations, it breaks Google Wallet (which still works for me on beta 3) and causes some drops in refresh rate.

Do the benefits of updating seem to outweigh these issues, or should I hang out on beta 3 for the time being?

I am well aware that betas break things. This isn't my first rodeo.

I am asking about the improvements to weigh whether I will update immediately or hold off.

You say you're familiar with Betas? Then you already know Google Wallet normally doesn't work with beta software.
This means you were willing to do without when you blindly installed the first beta two months ago.
What's changed that all of a sudden you can no longer risk it unless assured of improvements?

I mean it just released also. Can't really decide in that time frame if it's worth it or not. Give it a week or so.

Beta 4 is working just fine for me.

If you intend to keep Google wallet working in Beta 3, do not update the Wallet app. It will break its tap to pay functionality.

If your issue persists after the 4th update with Google Wallet, we kindly ask you to submit an error report through the Samsung Members app on your device:

1. Open Samsung Members.
2. Navigate to One UI Beta Program > Beta Feedback.
3. Attach any relevant screenshots (if possible).

I'd force stop it, clear cache and try again; if still bad, clear data and set it up again.
